Studio Laan has completed numerous individual interior and exterior projects at Altus Realty’s 225 Reinekers Lane, as part of a larger plan to renovate the aging building and reposition it on the current Alexandria, VA office market. Among these varied interventions, the 6th floor Town Hall is the largest, comprising 19,000 sf of interior office suites, with associated outdoor rooftop amenities.

Each of the six independent suites ranges in size between 2,000 and 4,800 sf, with shared amenity spaces including furnished outdoor terraces, conference rooms, and quiet meeting places. A state-of-the-art community lounge includes a 19’ long coffee bar/center island, clad in white oak tambour panels, as the main focal point, welcoming tenants and visitors from its position directly across from the elevator lobby.

A coordinated palette of neutrally colored, natural and nature-inspired materials lends each of the office suites an individual and varied character, while reinforcing the overall theme of shared spaces and communal use.

As the individual suites were leased at various points throughout design and into construction, each was customized to the tenants’ unique needs.
